Thank You to All Volunteer Blueberry Pickers!
250 lbs. of Fresh Blueberries Were Delivered to Local Food Pantries in New Hampshire and Maine!
On Sunday, August 12, about 100 volunteers participated in our "Picking for the Pantries" event here at the farm. Despite a cloudy and sometimes wet day, over 500 pounds of blueberries were harvested. For a number of years we have hosted this event where folks pick a bucket of blueberries for local food pantries and an equal amount for themselves for free. On Monday the 13th we delivered approx. 250 lbs. of fresh berries to Gerry's Food Pantry, Salvation Army, St. Charles School, and Joseph's Storehouse (all in Rochester); and in Maine to House of Hope in Berwick and the First Parish Congregational Church Pantry in Lebanon. Many thanks to all who took part in "Picking for the Pantries" from this year's abundant crop!
Sorry, we do not allow dogs at the farm, with the exception of service dogs.
Please drive slowly (5mph) up the driveway and anywhere on the property. This is a family farm and there may be small children or our farm dogs anywhere at any time.
